Your albums sound good! However, I hear a lot of phasing going on in the last several mic placements on this video, and wondering if you invert the stereo spreading when you? mix, to eliminate the phasing on the end product?

THANKS FOR THE INFO! Great stuff. I've been recording with one microphone because of my financial situation. I use an AKG 220 with pro tools m-powered 8 and my interface only has one mic input. I will eventually upgrade but my present problem is? recording bottleneck guitar. It comes out really tinny and harsh. Any advice? Thanx.

If i was going to ...
If i was going to do DI along with mic I would def mix the mic signal to be more prevalent then the DI. I? think the DI adds a little bit more brightness and sharpness but too much of it's signal takes away from the soul the mic adds. Great vid btw.

Fantastic tutorial. I have one question: Do you "PAN" the microfones sounds in all the situatitions? How much you pan? The first mic 100% left and other 100% right or you mantain part of combination sounds of mics in a? center? The direct sound stay in center in all situtions. Thanks for sharing your experience!
